It was a dark cold winter night in the middle of Michigan when Rare Michigan Genetics linage began. The year was 2010 and as Michigan residents we were eligible for the care giver program. The first step was to build a fully automated grow room that needed little human intervention and could be controlled via the internet. In addition to precise atmospheric controls, we created green technology to use Michigan’s thermal energy to reduce our power usage by half. From early on we also know the genetics would play a huge role in the end product. We started with 50 of Michigan’s highest terpene and thc producers and bread them with other unique strains. But these plants were not only crossed once or twice. We have continued crossing plants hundreds of times to make a proprietary catalog of strains “Rare Michigan Genetics“. We feel having such unique high testing strains that are not available anywhere else is important. We have now consolidated all this energy into a commercial facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We have a state of the art facility fully controlled for perfect atmospheric conditions and a fully automated plant feeding system. We also saved 50% of power consumption with green thermal technology. We have filled our 30,000 sqft facility with the proven proprietary strains we have made the last 10 years
